1d is the easy one, 4b (I've never heard that the Italians think the French are greedy!), 2a (la cucca sounds like cchiu, cchiu and could you explain the meaning of that one, please!) 6c, 3f so 5e.

Well done, WW. I can't find any site that gives the lifespan of a cuckoo but let's assume it's long for a bird. So, if you want to live long, like a cuckoo, use your boots a lot [ie walk a lot, be active] and fewer sheets [ie, don't laze around in bed].
