Sorry x 2 to go completely off-topic, Welshcakes, but there was a heavenly perf of Cav&Pag on telly the other night direct from Orange. Roberto Allagna in great voice, among others ditto (far too brief documentary preceded: RA showing us around Sicily! Fascinating). Operatic double-bill must be on YouTube by now. Not to my taste either but then I am so out of it musically. I did buy an Amy Winehouse CD to see what all the fuss was about but was not enamored of her either.
Hi, jmb. I'm out of it too! I quite like the voice but not many of the songs appeal. I can see why people rav3 about Winehouse's talent but it's not my sort of music.
