Today is International Art Day and, rather than write a story or poem, I would like to take the opportunity to celebrate the art of my dear friend, Gino. Gino has featured on this blog before and you can see a whole gallery of his work here. Tonight I would like to introduce you to two new works by Gino, both of which I like very much:
"Gone for a swim"
"Hedgehog"
Keep up the wonderful work, Gino, for you bring so much pleasure to all your friends, family and guests. I know that Gino would appreciate your comments, dear readers.

What a lovely way of celebrating IAD, bringing it right into the midst of your own community and allowing some of your farflung blogfriends a glimpse. Love the pair of paintings by Gino - esp the hedgehog (which I covet!) - and should like to see more. Thank you for the private view, Welshcakes. And bravo, Gino!
O wow hedgehogs... I furry Friday on Saturdayed them only this morning...
Hi WL...I love Gino's work..just been having a look at it all...I love Gone for a Swim, it is so delightful...you can just imagine cycling to the sea...:-)
Thanks, Phidelm. Gino will be pleased. Coming over soon, Gleds. Gino will be delighted, Anne.
I've been looking for some blogs that joined Art Day and I think you did a nice work promoting these paintings. I hope that the person who's taking care of Art Day in Bloggers Unite will approve soon the links to the participating blogs. None of them has been approved yet, I don't know why. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Hello, fullet and welcome to my blog. Thank you. Yes, it's strange, that, but perhaps the person is away?
I love the blue of the sea by the bicycle
Me, too, WW.
