It was rainy here yesterday too, Nerys. The gelatu are disappearing now. Thanks, Claude. Hope you enjoy your gelato! Hi, Nunyaa. How nice to see you. Enjoy yours, too! Oh, it was, Anne.
I'm a sort-of retired language teacher from Cardiff, Wales, UK, now trying to make a new life in Sicily. I'm not growing vines, making olive oil or restoring a palace stone by stone!

Thank you for always giving me a delicious reason to indulge in an ice cream treat. Mine is never as elaborate as yours but you're an inspiration.
Oh my Welshcakes that is so mouth watering. I am off to the shop for ice cream but it wont be as delicious as that one is ;)
I could eat gelato most days :-) .. this looks delicious.

I don't believe there is a season for icecream! I could happily eat that one at any time ;)
Me too, Dragonstar. But from about now most of the bars here will cease to stock traditional gelato until next May!
Wow!!!
Did Simi "wolf" down a bit...?
PS my Dad used to say "woof down"... as in "we woofed down our din-dins really quickly..."
Wolves... woofs... same difference, really...
Hi, Gleds. Simi "woofed" some down and agrees with you that woofs and wolves are the same thing! x woof/wolf!
We can't compete with that here. But maybe I should be more adventurous and make some sundaes like this for the boys
Hi, Ellee. I'm sure they'd love that.
