It's cold and rainy in Sicily but I'm OK as Lucia has just brought me a focaccia filled with broccoli and salsiccia which she baked in her own traditional stone oven.
I'm a sort-of retired language teacher from Cardiff, Wales, UK, now trying to make a new life in Sicily. I'm not growing vines, making olive oil or restoring a palace stone by stone!

Recipe please, we need recipe!!!:)
I'll try to get that from the other Lucia, Lucia!
Now that looks good!
I recognise that green Wedgwood plate.
There were two of them in my grandmother's house, one of which I now have, by a complicated chain of inheritance.
As a child I was fascinated by the intense colour.
I don't think they are valuable, one sees lots of them in antique shops, but they're rather striking, aren't they?
