I love reading your blogs, they keep me going when I feel very homesick (wich is often)won't be long before I'm back home to Italy, many thanks for a glimps of home.
I've spent most of the day sorting out food pictures, writing my food article for the northern paper etc., etc., and finally sent it all off to them...and now...you go and throw food at me again! ;)
Glad you like it, Steve. Jmb, it was very refreshing and cooling. Nicole, I don't drink beer so I don't know about that one. But they put granita in brioche for your breakfast. Begonia, that is a compliment indeed. Thank you. When are you coming home? Sorry, M and Lee, I'll send some through now! You'd have loved it, Ellee.
Sadly I got to work another 4 yrs before I retire and can live full time back home, meantime I spend every spare moment at my home in Umbria.........but it's not the same as living there all the time.BUT, if I win the lottery I'll be home on sunday (wishing hehehe)
I'm a sort-of retired language teacher from Cardiff, Wales, UK, now trying to make a new life in Sicily. I'm not growing vines, making olive oil or restoring a palace stone by stone!

Hi, begonia. I've never been to Umbria but gather it is lovely. How can you bear to be away? I can't get into your blog, btw. Auguri dalla Sicilia.
