A Welshwoman's Life in Sicily
Was it in a Church? Looks like a sword holder..
is it a candle holder or a gas lightdi.x
A chandalier?
I think the same as Trubes. A candle holder!
Just to say....must be my mind, looks like I am way off...ha ha haWhat exactly was I thinking about when I left my first comment! :-)
I'm thinking a candle holder too...from a church.
I'm leaning towards what CherryPie said -- a candleholder!Regarding the cheese, the secret's out -- I am absolutely mad for cheese. In another life I must have been a mouse ;-)
Not that, Anne, but an imaginative guess. Trubes, Cherie, Betty, Rowena: I see what you mean but not for candles. Good guess, Ellee, but no. ANSWER: It is part of a traditional, decorated Sicilian cart. This sort of ironwork was found over the axle.
I would not have guesed that Welshcakes. It looks a little Heath Robinsonian to me!
Hi, jams. I'd quite like one, myself!
