"Love is a swing": This song was popular during my first fateful summer in Italy and, as I just found it by accident on youtube, I simply must share it with all of you. [Did I really wear collars like that and sticky mascara? - Must have done.] Oh, yes, it's another one that I still have in my vinyl collection!

Do you also like Ornella Muti, Welshcakes?
That mascara was all the rage then :-)
Not much, James. I remember it well, Cherie.
Yes it was an interesting period for fashion.
I wish I had my vinyl collection back now that they have these turntables with a USB port so you can play the music into you computer and save it. Sounds brilliant.
A stylish,attractive lady.
And i do like her make up,
always did like the ladies who "made an effort".
These days it's rare to see a well made up girl.
Hi, jmb. I didn't know you could do that. Hi, O&A. That is not the case here, where a lot of the women are always beautifully made up. Me? Always put on full make-up, even in hospital!
Hi Welshcakes: can I ask you advice about Italian cooking?... I am trying to learn how to make bolognaise sauce from scratch. All I know is you have to boil down the chopped tomatoes massively. Delia says do this in an open casserole dish in an oven for 3 hours... have you any advice??
Ciao, Gleds. I had just put my version on your comments when I came back and saw your request! Glad to help and I'm sure you'll make a great "Gledwood" version from all the recipes your commenters will give you!
