UNA MANIFESTAZIONE

Students were demonstrating against water privatisation in Modica Bassa this morning. My political instinct would normally be to agree with them, but after the problems of the past couple of days, I'd back anything that might lead to an efficient water supply! I must say the demonstration was a good-natured and well-ordered affair, and the cafés were doing great business!

Thanks for stopping by my site. I've heard that water has been a problem in Sicily, but is this just a dryer year? Or is it the norm?

Hi, again. On my latest post, I've listed links to some interesting blogs. Would you mind if I added yours. I think some of the people that stop by would find it interesting.

Hi, Steve. No, this is the norm, I'm afraid! I would be delighted if you added my blog to your list and I was just going to write and ask you if I could link to you! Nice to be in touch.

What a wonderful blue sky you had today. I hope you don't have any further recurrance of your water problems. I love the student protests, it shows they have some fire and guts in their bellies, long may it continue.

I'm dying to know if your water is still working, is the sky still as deep blue, or are you out sampling some more scrummy local specialities?

Saluti,
Irenula.

Hi, Ellee. Yes, the sky is still clear blue and it's hot! Water still working so far but I've got everything crossed and am touching wood as I write that!
Ciao, Irenula.

WL, I am very impressed with your Italian, and very pleased you have found a Latin blogger, perhaps the locals are too busy thinking about love (well that's what we imagine back here) to be stuck in front of a PC. And I don't blame them at all.

Dolce Vita!
