... for the water lorry to appear. I phoned the office again at 12.45 pm and was told they had had a lot of requests and that they think it will come today! This situation makes me really grumpy as I cannot move properly, not having been able to have a hot bath.

What time did it finally arrive?
On a similar line, a local pub has added a shower for her customers who are lorry drivers so they can freshen up. She says business has soared, they all naturally stop and have a pint and pie too. Wasn't that a good idea?
It hasn't, as yet! That's an excellent idea of the pub owner's. Maybe the bars here should try it, given the water supply problems to residential premises!
