This is for James -nourishingobscurity.blogspot.com/ [youtube won't let me embed it] - because it just MAY be the mystery man's birthday today. It's also for all you other men out there who really love women.

Well I enjoyed being a girl although I was a bit of a tom "girl" really but I did often wonder what the alternative was like at times.

I love being a girl, too! And for all you men out there who have seen a girl you like, don't hesitate or it might be too late! (I think there's a story here!)

Had to laugh - beauty can be a curse.

I strongly subscribe to the belief that it all comes from inside through the way a woman handles herself. Some of the most alluring women were far more than skin deep eye candy.

With that singer I profiled, she was "OK" earlier but now, at around 50, she's astounding. Despite everything you see at my site, "a certain age" most certainly creates allure. If all men over 40 are rogues, what are all women over 40?

In that photo I posted, there's one of the girls in the middle, in brown - looks quite ordinary but the way she uses what she's got is amazing.

Your Sicilians seem pretty susceptible to you and you're one of the most popular bloggers going. That's no accident.

xxooxx

Hi, jmb. I never was a "tom" girl but I did and do like being treated as if I've got a brain! Hi, Leslie, you are so right there. "Too late" is the story of some men's lives.
Hi, James. The trouble is still that men of 50 or so want brainless "trophies", don't you think? I've reached the stage where I think that's their loss. Thank you for your nice words about my blog. Your encouragement has always helped me. xxxx

Hi, cherry pie. Glad you like it. Mutley, what can I say?!

I know how you feel about wanting to be treated like you have a brain, I hate it so much when people do that to me...

I just try and focus on the ones who know I have a brain and love the friendship even more xx

I love being a girl. you reminded me of a post I did Welshcakes on Lipstic Feminism, I have no trouble marrying the two concepts..

I'm finding the trouble with men of 40 is they are trying to date with the 'skills' they had at 16...hence my decision to stay single..laugh

Love the muppets...x

Welshcakes: I too Enjoy Being a Girl!
That clip reminded me of the time I used to be in the local Amateur Dramatic Society, then aged 18, before the ravages of time caught up with me! I was Cinderella and sang 'I Enjoy Being a Girl', with Daisy the Pantomime Cow, when the Ugly Sisters had gone off to the Ball.
Daisy and I were a right pair of 'hoofers', I mean that literally, I was born with 2 left feet ! I could sing in those days though.
