AFTERNOON TEA, SICILIAN STYLE

Hot, hot, hot today, with the Sacro Cuore thermometer registering +40C as I walked back at 5pm. So just what I needed on the way was this ice-cold tea with some goodly dollops of lemon granita [water-ice] in it.

Yes, I missed this one today, taking an Italian lesson at the time. And what other delicacies did you enjoy today, WC? :)

Just having a tea, too. It's in a Seamus-Heaney-mug and - it's hot. :)

Did you have a nice relaxing sit whilst you drank the tea?

Don't tell him about the delicacies ;-)

It was cool here today, but for the next few days we're going up to 30+, just in time for my Welsh visitors! Yay! That iced tea and prune liqueur both look very inviting. :D

40 gradi...ouch! How is Simi bearing this heat?

Oh, it's nice and hot here in Vegas and the ice tea looks refreshing. I plan on taking advantage of the free heat making some sun tea this weekend.

It is grey and cold and raining here too. Impossible to believe it's June.

Oooo. Sounds delicious! Maybe a bit chilly for today though!

I think I would like a Pimms in a heatwave.

Hi, Sean. I'm sure it was lovely. Yes, I did, cherrypie and I won't!
I'll do my best, jmb! Hi, Leslie. Say hello from me to your Welsh visitors. Ciao, rowena. Better than me! It doesn't seem to bother her and her mummy rubs her down with ice after walks. Hi, indigo-daisy. Happy tea-making! Liz and dragonstar - sorry it's rainy over there. Oh, I would love a Pimm's, Ellee!

That looks soooo good.

It's a cozy 72 degrees (F) here with a light breeze.
