FOODIE FRIDAY



My "quickest-ever lemon cake" became a "St David's Day quickest-ever lemon cake" this week as I took one over to Raffaele the hairdresser. I have become a fan of the coloured, flavoured icing sugar we can now get in Italy. I used orange icing sugar to decorate the cake.

I thing it's delicious. I have one orange's cake recipe, that includes the peel orange in the recipe.

Or tarti il citroni (that sounds Italian enough, right~??)

just found a recipe for marmalade and apricot muffins .... will have to try it out soon especially as i have lots of home made marmalade :-) One of my boys loves lemon cake too :-)
