SUMPTUOUS SPIEDINI

These ready-prepared spiedini of minced pork wrapped in ham and thin slices of zucchini looked so appetising in the butcher's this morning that I just had to buy some to try! I brushed them with olive oil, put them in the oven for 45 minutes and they were every bit as delicious I had anticipated. That's an idea which I will copy.

Sounds simple enough. Not dry? Or did you make some sauce?

James, I'll send you some online! Jmb, no, not dry at all - no need for sauce.

So much lovely food - this, and then followed by watermelons. What a good idea for one evening next week.

Drool, yum, drool.

They look lovely and not too difficult to copy. Was the meat spicy?

Hi, Chris. glad you like this idea. Lee, I've not seen anything like these before either. Steve, liz, they were lovely. Not spicy at all, Liz - a very delicate taste.

These do like nice.

Far nicer than my chicken and bacon slice.

Crushed, I'm sure your chicken and bacon slice was excellent!
