MORE DELIGHTS

This cerchio [circle] bread is hard but so good! [Modican bread is said to be hard because, in days gone by, the shepherd could keep some in his pocket for days without its going stale.]

The mini nettarine bianche [white nectarines] are just arriving. They are excellent.

For some reason that bread ring made me think of pretsils.
The big ones, not the barsnacks.

Ummm...those nectarines look delicious. I love them, but I've never seen the white ones here.

Lovely looking bread but I think I would break my teeth on it.
I've never seen the white necatarines before.

Hi, Crushed. I can see what you mean. They are lovely, Lee and have a strong perfume. Hi, jmb. I'm always careful when biting into the hard bread!

the bread looks lovely but must take some eating if it's hard.

I've never seen ... I've just read jmb's comments and mine are just the same as hers!

Hi, Liz. Well, you can dip the bread in olive oil. It is surprisingly good.

I do love the mini-nectarines (we call them smergie where I come from). They are one of my favorite fruit!
