Non feminist? Oh, Welshcakes! Ooooh. You're getting a bit technical as you get younger, yu know. I haven't graduated to Youtube yet.

Hi, true blue. Nice to meet you. Maybe you'll move to the sun one day, too! James, me, teachnical? - That'll be the day!

Hi Welshcakes: I`ve only recently found your Blog site, it`s really very interesting. My fav. bits are about food, village life and of course little doggie.
At present I`m at Liverpool University (part time)studying French language, including French Culture and Politics. It`s along hard slog, (at my tender years) but I absolutely love it.
When I talk of "Family commitments" I don`t mean to complain as I have a loving husband, three lovely daughters and three gorgeous "granbabies Life is
good but I so long to live in a Mediterranian climate and immerse myself in the culture etc. Rather selfish I suppose and would miss my family but hey, we all have our dreams and you certainly seem to be living yours. Long may it last !
Grief! I sound like a latter-day version of Shirley Valentine !

Isn't that the same song that Perez Prado recorded as
Guaglione
? I really like Prado's version. And the one you posted is really quite good too.

Hi, true blue. Great to know which bits are your favourites on my blog. I'm very interested to know about your univ course and well done for taking it on. It's great that you are enjoying it so much. Glad that you have a loving family around you - maybe one day you will all come to the Med? you never know. I am living my dream but it has been very hard and still is, in some ways. When things go wrong - and they do - it would be so nice just to have someone I could take for granted; someone who could take on the rest of the world with or for me. But that's my other dream and I guess it wasn't meant to be. And, as you say, I have little Simi who is so precious! So I have all the love in the world, really.

Ludlingtonian, the clip's working now. Yes, it's the same song. I like that version too. Somehow thought you'd like it, Lee!

Thanks for the confirmation.

You are no doubt already familiar with this, with the delicious Jude Law.

Hi, Ludlingtonian. My pleasure. Thanks for the link - I didn't know that one - it's great!

If you enjoyed that with Jude Law, then here's the original.

Who'd have thought a Neapolitan mandolin could be a rock 'n' roll instrument, eh?

Thanks, Ludlingtonian. That is wonderful! Who'd have thought it, indeed?!
