My blogger friend mountain girl [do check out her blog] has brought back her excellent weekly photo challenge and this time, I thought I'd join in.
This week's theme is "money" and, though my photo is not very original, it does give me the opportunity to share with you a vignette from yesterday:
Handing me my change from a 50 euro note, a shopkeeper apologised that it was all in 5 euro notes. "Ma così ha più soldi, signora", ["This way you have more money"], he observed. "Questa è una logica che mi piace", ["That's the type of logic I like"], said I.

Yes indeed. I'm still paid in pounds. A little less each month..but really, that is not important.
lol- With my small change, I'm rich.
Bring back the lira!
I do like that sort of logic.
I love the logic! I will have to consider joining in this challenge
Hi, Mary. Yes, the pound and the euro are nearly equal now, so I've lost out. But I am happy here! Hello, Scintilla. Glad you're rich, too! Ah, those were the days, WW! Thought you would, James.
Hi, jams. Very Italian, that logic! Yes, do join in.
If only that were true!
This looks like a fun thing. I have always enjoyed photo hunt and it makes one use that camera.
love the logic and the pic...always wondered what a euro looked like!
Hi, jmb. Yes, it sounded fun. As you say, if only the shopkeeper's words were true! Hi, Kyles. Now you know!
Me too!
