A QUICK LUNCH



Found these canestrelli [little baskets] of minced pork, mozzarella, grana cheese, spinach and olives, all wrapped in bacon, in the butcher's today.

That's tempting. Did you hear about Heston Blumenthal's recreation of a Roman feast where he duplicated the Trimalchio idea of slitting open a hog roast and having a load of sausages fall out?

Delicous as ever. I'm glad I ate before I visited or it would be sending the not-wife off to make me a sandwich!
