GRAPPA

Not a corner of my kitchen, unfortunately, but spotted in the supermarket bar this afternoon [not that you could miss it] - a mock-up of grappa being distilled.

What a process..is that how it's really made?

I bought some Grappa a few years back for an after Christmas dinner drink...it did not go over well. I couldn't even take a sip as the smell practically singed my nose hairs and my stomach said "keep out"! Two other friends gagged and ran to the bathroom while the third just backed away.

My friends forbid me to bring drinks to future parties.

It does, Cherie. Hi, pink. Yes, I think so. Thanks for sharing your story. I can't drink the stuff - burns my head off.

Hello, Christopher. What rugby would that be, then? - Ah, just looked it up. Cincin to you and to you, WW!

A supermarket bar? I'm not fond of grappa myself but I like that display

Hi, jams. Yes, you do find fully-stocked bars attached to the larger supermarkets in Italy. They'll serve tea, cakes, croissants and so on, too. I liked the display as well.
