ARROSTO DI VITELLO

Roast veal in a deliciously delicate sauce as served at the Altro Posto at lunch time today.

Actually, I'm not sure if I am a fan of veal, silly I know when I am a meat eater, but it does make me feel squeamish.

Just spent the afternoon in Cambridge with my sons doing half-term stuff like taking them to the dentists and swimming when I had a fanatastic phone call. My youngest son who is a bit of a thespian has got a part as an extra in EastEnders, he is being filmed there next week. I can't believe it.

I know, Ellee. There are issues with regard to veal in the UK. Here it is ubiquitous and I just try not to think about it.

Don't do this to us, Welshcakes. I adore veal. Of course Ellee doesn't - this is the British prejudice [pumpkin too].

Yum! I've just made a date and sultan loaf...and, of course, I had to try some while it was still hot...so, luckily I'm not so hungry this time viewing your pic, Welsh! I love Vitello Tonnato, too...I love veal, though I've not had it for a while...you've started me thinking!a

Re the comment deleted above: I haven't deleted any comments so I don't know how this happened. Lee, date and sultana loaf sounds delicious.
