There are some cookery writers who never let you down and Ursula Ferrigno is one such. I have long wanted to make this pumpkin bread from the "Bread" book she wrote with Eric Treuille and this afternoon I got around to it. [Today seems to be my day for "getting around to things".]

That looks delicious! Does it taste as good as it looks?
Can almost smell it from here, I really enjoy baking ,used to have a bread machine that i used every day .
If it tastes good maybe you could let us have the recipe...
My! That's looks too delicious for words, Welsh. I've got friends coming for lunch on Saturday next and have been thinking about making some bread as part of it...I think you've convinced me I should, rather than buy some. There's something extra special about home-made bread. I think I will! Thanks. :)r
Hi, Liz. It tastes good and I'll be making it again. Sally, I can't post the recipe as it's copyright rather than being one which I have made up. I've never had a bread machine but I do use a processor to mix and knead the dough. Thanks, Lee. I think there is something very comforting about home-made bread if you have the time to make it.
Hi WL we will have to come over and sample some of your lovely cooking, it all looks delicious.
You'll be very welcome, Anne!
