A nice bit of colour to brighten the day.

Judging from your photos, spring is several leaps ahead of us northerners. I see is hellebores popping up among the forest leaves while you islanders have already celebrated the Sagra del Mandorlo in Fiore!

Is this usual?
We've had some early signs too, but I wouldn't take them to the bank. Last year we had snow at the end of March. The locals tell us not to plant our summer garden until after Mother's Day!

And the upside (or downside depending in which hemisphere one dwells)is that Autumn is not that far down the road and around the corner for us here.

Hi, Cherie. Yes, it cheered me up. Hello, Rowena. We probably are a bit ahead down here! Yes, that festival was earlier. Isn't it just, jams?! D'accordo, WW! Hi, Rosaria. Yes, quite usual. That sounds like good advice! Hi, Claude. Glad you like them. I hadn't thought of that, Lee!
