SABATO MUSICALE - EUROVISION

Italy returns to the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest tonight after an absence of 14 years.  This is its entry:

Raphael Gualazzi - Madness of Love

Now, who else remembers this one?

Gigliola Cinquetti - Non ho l'età

Update: The Italian song came second.  Viva l'Italia!

I'm glad Jedward beat Blue. Did they actually call themselves Jedward? I missed most of it. And aren't there a lot of weird former socialist republics joining in. The Georgian entry was the only I remembered. Looked like they'd bought their costumes down the market did those 2.

Hi to Simi. Does she ever hear woofs in her head? I'm doing a survey at mine on this issue. If she does, I've got a few antipsychotic pills going spare...

Apart from Moldova it was disappointingly bland. It needed more real rubbish. Oh yes Jedward were dreadful too!

I remember Cicliola! I wasn't born when she won but it's one of my favourite ESC songs. Congratulations to Gualazzi and Italy for their second spot in the Grand Final.
