Hey I know the answer to Q1: it's a volcano whose eruption-type is named after said peak's boulder-spitting proclivities..(!!)

Mmm! I did try on Google, and still didn't do too well xx

I never was good at quizzes though, I always teamed with my Dad and he is fantastic at them. Strangely enough the few answers he didn't know I always did ;-)

I can't understand why people didn't like us to team up!!!

I'm impressed, Gleds! Cherrypie, you and your Dad must have made a wonderful quiz team! Yesterday's was a bit fiendish, I admit!

Darn, I would have known the answer to yesterday's quiz if I hadn't been chased out of the Valley of the Temples by a rain storm last year. Those temples are far apart and takes a bit of running flat out to get back to the car park.

Actually my home-made dumplings are quite like the famous boulders spat from said volcanic isle...

Sorry, jmb.
Brilliant, Mutley! The answer to everything on earth is, of course, "Bridport".
Flutterby, you were unfortunate in the weather during that visit!
I'm sure they taste fine, Gleds.
