This is one of my favourite films set in Sicily. I'm going to tell you all about it in the next post!

I would quite like to see that... the only film I remember seeing set in Sicily is The Godfather II!!!

Monica Bellucci? I had never seen her before

hey did you know one of my more bizarre ambitions is to get a part (has to be a speaking part as well) in a French film (well I cannot speak Italian)

haha!

Hi, Gleds. You would be fascinated by this film, I'm sure. have you ever heard of "Cinema Paradiso"? - It's by the same director. Oh, I'm sure you'd wow us all in a Fr film, Gleds!

This is visually a very beautiful film and one I often mean to buy on DVD although it is rather expensive here.

Yes, I saw the film too. Very good.

Maybe the film could be called "Oubliable"... doesn't that mean "forgettable"..??

I have a coy of Cinema Paradiso and watch it every now and again, enjoying it each time as much as the first time. This sounds like an Italian version of Ryans Daughter;another film that I realy enjoy watching. I have just ordered "Malena" from Amazon for £3.50. Will wait for a rainy windy evening to curl up and watch it. Thank you Welchcakes for introducing me to it?
