Two signs of spring in Modica's Sorda district today:
The borage flowers are out
and a temperature of 16°C is sufficient for signor Fargione to start making his gelati. Congratulations to him on being "first" again!

I am impatiently waiting for spring.
Beautiful! I love borage. (I'm sure I'd love the gelati too if I tasted it!)
We had daffodils well before St David's Day, but now the weather's turned rather wintry again :(
The borage is out - so must be the Pimms!
It's always good to see borage out We wont see any for a few months
Thank you for your splendid photos heralding the sight and taste of spring!
Isn't that wonderful, a new gelato making season starts with the first signs of spring.
Me, too, Cherie - we've been back to winter today! Hi, Dragonstar. Oh, you would love the gelati. Daffodils are hard to find here. Would that I could still drink it, WW! Hi, jams. Yes, it is good to see it. Thank you, Claude. Yes, it's lovely, Rosaria.
