I once had lemon sorbet in a little caff opposite Harrods. It probably cost about 65 million quid but I wasn't paying. It was really really nice ~ a cross between ice cream and ice lolly and not too pansy and icey if you know what I mean. I suspect it was full of eggwhite. Or yolk. Or both...? Whatever they put in luxury sorbet. Really really good.
I can't recommend the bistro type pavement cafe it came from as this was around 1990 when Madonna's Vogue was at #1..!
I'm a sort-of retired language teacher from Cardiff, Wales, UK, now trying to make a new life in Sicily. I'm not growing vines, making olive oil or restoring a palace stone by stone!
