LOOKING UP

I like balconies and this one in Modica Bassa has cheered me up all year. The vertical plants are artificial but it's no less pretty for that.

Very pretty, brightens up the walks .. A great idea to put artificial up, but I hope they don't look like them .. you can get some good ones now.

Surely there's no need for artificial plants in Sicily or the daily water too much of a chore?

Where is that near?

I am always reminding myself to look up as well. There are all kinds of surprises on the windows and balconies above.

I'm not sure about that, Lakeviewer! Hi, Cherie. Glad you agree. It is rather, Gleds. Hi, Anne. They don't look artificial at first glance and they do brighten the place up. Hi, WW. Well, it's a spot of colour in winter. I don't know. Hi, James. Bottom of the hill going down to Modica Bassa, just before you turn right into the Corso. You are absolutely right, IP.

They really do look real and very colourful too.
i've often considered getting some artificial indoor plants, as I'm absolutely useless at remembering to water them.
Fortunately, my garden plants thrive, thanks to the amount of rain we have in 'dear old blighty'!

Hope you and darling Simi are well and happy,

Di.xx

Hi, Trubes. I always forget to water plants, too and I really should only buy ones that can tolerate neglect! x
