I was lucky enough to be invited to Raffaele's celebration last night so found myself whisked off to the Ristorante Le Magnolie in Frigintini, a village in the Modican countryside renowned for its olive oil. We dined like rather rustic kings on chips, pizza drizzled with the amazing oil ["whisky verde", as Raffaele calls it] and almond parfait which was, indeed, perfetto!

Those are some fine looking delicacies. My wife and I need to take a vacation in Sicily.
Have you ever had a bad meal in Sicily?
And I'd be delighted to see you both here, Steve. Ellee, I have searched my brain and I honestly don't think I have!
I adorejust about everything Italian! Love these pics...the food looks delicious. I'm envious of you!
Hi, Lee. Glad you like my pics and all things Italian, like me! Changing country does have its down side and I certainly get down days, but then, that can happen anywhere. But I do love this country!
That looks so good... I was going to ask what Ellee asked!
