I went for 'anything made by someone else" but I wasn't being truthful! Ny two favourites weren't listed.
If I'm having a traditional Christmas, I have the whole kit and kaboodle...the whole catastrophe....roast turkey(with stuff), roast pork, glazed ham, the whole arrangement of roast vegetables eg. potatoes, sweet potatoes (kumera) pumpkin, onions with green peas and honey-ed carrots...I used to always present a cauliflower/broccoli au gratin. Gravy, cranberry sauce, apple sauce...you name it...it was all there! Finished off with hot Christmas pudding and warm brandy custard.
If I'm having what has become an Aussie traditional Christmas...I have heaps of fresh seafood...prawns, crabs, oysters.
Hi, Steve. Thanks fo voting. James, glad someone goes for the beef and pud! Hi, Ellee. Dunno yet. Probably along the pasta and various roasted meats line. I'm not a particular fan of British roasts so I'm quite happy with that. Miss the cranberry sauce, though! Sorry I didn't list your favs, Lee. Your traditional Xmas meal sounds wonderful. We can't get hams here - not the type you can bake and glaze and I do miss that.
I'm a sort-of retired language teacher from Cardiff, Wales, UK, now trying to make a new life in Sicily. I'm not growing vines, making olive oil or restoring a palace stone by stone!

I guess I'm a traditional kind of guy. I went for the turkey. Not sure what we will have...the wife is working and I will prepare something easy.
I went to press for the turkey first but then saw the pud and beef and as that's my homeland, had to vote for it.
I'm definitely a traditionalist turkey fan - what will you be having?

Yay! We turkeys are winning. However, I think I'd like to go to Lee's house for Christmas dinner.
