SABATO MUSICALE

A song from a Welshman and it's for my Simi. And yes, dogs do speak and they do smile:

What a lovely tribute for dear Simi who was such a gorgeous girl.

No,they never truly leave us for we carry them forever in our hearts.

They are our guardian angels. I am sure of this.

I wish every dog (and cat)(and cow and pig and goat) had someone to love them as much as you love Simi.

Hello Dear Welshcakes
I listened very carefully to the lyrics and they are so touching.
How do you feel today, have you got anybody to talk to nearby?
I do hope so.
It all seemed so sudden,
was Simi poorly?
I hope you don't mind me asking. I just feel so upset for you, I felt as if I knew her personally.
I always enjoyed any little snippets of information of her daily doings, she was quite a little character!

Chloe is coming into her fourteenth year and I worry should she fall ill, she loathes going to the vet and wails all the way.
She's due for her senior cat clinic and booster vaccinations.

Just to let you know I share your grief and am thinking about you,
love Di xxx

Thank you so much, Uber.xx Thankyou, Di. I don't mind your asking. No,not poorly but getting weakerwith age. The vet thought she'd be ok a few days before but she had a stroke or maybe more than one. There are some very kind people I can talk to but many don't understand. Give Chloe my love. xx

Dear Welshcakes,
I don't think people do understand our feelings when we lose a beloved pet.
The grief is as raw a losing a close relative.
I'm glad you have some friends who understand, ignore those that don't they're not worthy of your friendship...what's the expression....Love me love my dog...
When I first met Ian he was desperately allergic to dogs and I had a wonderful Alsation called Victor, I used to say I'd put the dog in the garden when Ian visited me (he did have a cosy kennel) but Ian wouldn't hear of it, he just went to see his GP and got some antihistamines, which stopped his asthmatic attacks. When we had to take Victor to the vet for his final visit, the poor old dog had severe arthritis in his hips and was in pain, gold injection cost , then £200: per shot on a weekly basis, Ian said he would pay the vet fees but the vet thought he was in too much pain so we had to let him go. He went to sleep pain free to doggy heaven I still think of him now but remember the good times when he was a strong healthy dog. Ian cried with me when he went but in our hearts we knew it was the right thing to do.
You will recover from your grief Pat but it will take time, until then my thoughts are with you,
Take care,
love Di...Chloe sends her love and lots of licks and whiskery tickles around your nose xxx
P.S. she's rubbing her head on the side of my PC, she must know we're talking about darling Simi xx
