I adapted this from a recipe I saw in an advertisement and oh, dearie me, I didn't have any small paper cases! Put whatever paper cases you have onto freezer-proof trays. Then you drain some Amarena Fabbri preserved cherries and pop one or two into your paper cases [one if you have small, elegant cases] . You are then supposed to pour over Fabbri Kroccant chocolate sauce but I couldn't find any to buy yesterday so I melted some vanilla-flavoured Modican chocolate with some plain, dark chocolate - which we all now know is good for us - in the microwave with a drop of the syrup from the cherries. Pour it over, decorate -or not - as you please and leave to cool. [You could add some chopped almonds to the chocolate after it has melted but I didn't have any of those either!] Leave to cool and then put in the freezer for about 20 minutes to firm up. Then be very naughty.

Wow I bet its 10 Hail Marys and 20 Our Fathers as penance for one of those!
Just wish I could eat your food - right now I am 'getting by' on corned beef mixed in with tinned spaghetti.
I love that comment of jams....
I am a bit concerned about Dr Wood though. Can't you send him a Sicilian foodylode parcel or something? While you are doing that can you also send me a dozen of those naughty but nice cakes? Thanks so much!
Naughty? I'd be positively wicked!
Sounds very good. What are those white pearls? I made bakewell tart with preserved cherries and cherry jam the other day: not bad if you can't get fresh raspberries!
If that's sin, I'm no saint.
Oh, no! I sat down at the computer to overcome my mad craving for chocolate! I have none in the house and won't have money to buy any until tomorrow! This chocolate craving is worse than wanting a cigarette!
Hi, Simi!
Aint MY hoomin bean sillyz! OK?
they look wonderful and i expect they taste good too :-)
I can just taste that chocolate. Mmm!
Hi, jams. At least that many! Dr CW, I'll send some over. Getting the parcel tape out now, DD. Agree Scintilla. Why do things by halves? That sounds an excellent Bakewell tart, WW. Those are silver sugar balls. You'll have to come back and try some, James. Sorry. Nick. Hi, Alex. Simi says, "All hooman beanz are very silly and we just have to humour them!" xx woof! Thsnks, Sally and Cherie.
