We have rain, hail, thunder, lightning and just about everything else in Sicily this afternoon, so here is the ever-energetic Jovanotti with a suitable song:
That's a nice jazzy song. Jaipur's monsoon season really had little rain. I've a month left here..a tad over but, at least, I'll be here for Navratri and part of Diwali, the festival of the lights. I love India's celebrations.
Your weather sounds so similar to what we've been having down this way, Pat. We had rain on Thursday...first decent rain in months...and then Friday the wind blew at gale force all day long, and the temperatures dropped...snow was even falling in southern States and sleet in part of southern Queensland! Now the sky is cloudless and blue...and the temps are still low than the norm for this time of the year here.
Don't be too shocked next time you pay a visit to my blog. I decided yesterday to give it a bit of a face-lift. But in changing the template - it's "look"...I lost all the past comments to my posts...all of them!!!! And I don't know how to retrieve them! So frustrating!
All I felt like was a bit of a change...but I didn't intend losing what all my blogger mates have written over the years! Grrrrr!
So, if at any time you consider doing similar...think twice, or you'll end up tearing your hair out like I've been doing!!
Hi, Carmen. How exciting to be there for Diwali! Looking forward to reading all about it. Hi, Lee. The weather does sound similar to yours! I'll be over to your blog to see the changes soon. I'll heed your advice! Love from Simi and me. xx woof! Hi, WW: I really like it and I adore Luca! Hi, James. Yes, and when it does rain it doesn't do so by halves.
I'm a sort-of retired language teacher from Cardiff, Wales, UK, now trying to make a new life in Sicily. I'm not growing vines, making olive oil or restoring a palace stone by stone!

Take care...cuddles to Simi.
I've been watching Inspector Montalbano to revive my Italian. What do you think of that programme? What a pastiche!
You actually get rain there? Can't imagine it.

It was bad in our part of the island as well, we lost power for most of the afternoon/evening. At least the temperatures are comfortable!
Hi, Hawkins family. Power has been coming and going here all day, too and there was a long outage last night. Hope you're all Ok.
