At the risk of boring you, I have to say that one of the delights of being here is that a dish or concoction you ask for in a bar will never be exactly the same from one day to the next. So when, at the Altro Posto this lunchtime, I requested some fruit and a little ice cream, the barman was able to use his creativity and come up with something completely different, in appearance, from Wednesday's naughty dessert. The staff do not just make up a fresh fruit salad to a formula, as in the UK [when you are able to order fresh fruit at all there].

What a colorful presentation of naughty! Looks absolutely yummy.
Sorry to ask on your blog for assistance, but can you please help me in trying to locate a variety of tomato called delizia which grows on the slopes of Mount Etna. I first came across this superb flavoured variety in Sainsbury's but for some strange reason they have stopped stocking them. I would be most grateful if you could help me in either trying to find a source for the tomatoes or the seeds whereupon I will grow them myself.I can be contacted at billc@foulis1.freeserve.co.uk if you can help
Thanks in anticipation
That would actually disconcert me.
If I have enjoyed a meal, it want it exactly the same next time.

Now how could that bore me?
Thanks, pink. You'll soon be here to try for yourself! Billc, I will try to find out and get back to you. I never thought of it like that, Crushed! Thank you, James.
Looks like summer is just around the corner with all that lovely fresh fruit.
I would think that there are many ice cream parlours in the Uk that still reach for a ton opener when serving 'fresh' fruit salad. I has to be fresh for me.
Hi, jmb. It does seem so! Ciao, MM. Me, too!
