This poem has inspired so many women, wherever they are:
Maya Angelou - Phenomenal Woman
"I have reached the lovely age where I can admit that sensuality satisfies me as much as sexuality and sometimes more so."
"If it is true that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, isn't it also true that a society is only as healthy as its sickest citizen and only as wealthy as its most deprived?"
"I believe that art encourages us to stand erect and stretch upward toward the higher ground."
All quotes from "Even the Stars Look Lonesome".
Maya Angelou

Hello again and just wait for the nasty cynics to have their say with their sexist racism disguised as sweet reasonableness. And focusing on the female phenomenon... over 800 women stoned to death in just one country in Asia each year, I read today in the report of yet another one. Can that be true? A long road to travel yet, humanity.
RIP
beautiful what an inspirational woman she was.
I'm not sure I follow the first part of your comment, Andrew but I would agree that humanity has a long way to go. Echoed, WW. Yes, she certainly was, Karen.
Hear! Hear! What a full and interesting life she lived. Her memory will linger long.
Hello, Lee. Yes, a wonderful person and a wonderful life.
A wonderful woman. She will always be remembered with affection.
Yes, she certainly will, Dragonstar.
