AFTERNOON TEA, SICILIAN STYLE

Hot, hot, hot today, with the Sacro Cuore thermometer registering +40C as I walked back at 5pm. So just what I needed on the way was this ice-cold tea with some goodly dollops of lemon granita [water-ice] in it.

  9. Oh, it's nice and hot here in Vegas and the ice tea looks refreshing. I plan on taking advantage of the free heat making some sun tea this weekend.

I'll do my best, jmb! Hi, Leslie. Say hello from me to your Welsh visitors. Ciao, rowena. Better than me! It doesn't seem to bother her and her mummy rubs her down with ice after walks. Hi, indigo-daisy. Happy tea-making! Liz and dragonstar - sorry it's rainy over there. Oh, I would love a Pimm's, Ellee!
