Look what arrived in the post this morning - these fabulous fridge magnets and a bookmark from my blogging friend jmb in Vancouver! The Aboriginal art magnet, representing kangaroos, is very interesting, the Alaska magnet is an unusual one to have and the French one could have been made for me. It reads: "Take my hand and walk with me." "Learn my language and talk to me." Thank you, jmb!

What a really thoughtful thing to do. I love getting packages.
I shall have to see if I can add to this collection, but I would prefer it if you visited Cambridge in person. How sweet of JMB.
I'm meeting up with Winchester Whisperers and other bloggers in London next month, btw, really looking forward to it. Would love you to be there too.
Oh, isn't jmb lovely?
You're going to have to get another fridge soon, Welsh, the way you're going with those magnets! ;)
Hi, MM. Me too! Ellee, that would be lovely. I used to visit Cambridge a lot with my Dad, on book-buying expeditions. And later I went to in-service courses there. I spoke on the phone to WW last week , as I did to you and it was lovely to hear your voices. But my finances won't withstand another trip to the UK so soon, if ever!
Hi, Liz. Yes, she is indeed.
Lee, that occurred to me, too!
Prego, you're welcome. You really do have quite the collection there, Welshcakes. I'll tell my daughter one of her magnets now resides in Sicily.
And sicily is very proud of it, jmb. Thanks again.
I'm going to have to get some fridge magnets, I realise that.
We have none, but I feel left out.
