I don't think my red, white and green plastic necklaces were the kind of jewellery the late John Lennon had in mind when he famously told an audience to "rattle their jewels" at a Royal Variety Performance back in 1963 but I'll definitely be rattling them for the Azzurri tonight!
I am otherwise prepared, too. [My nails just caused a sensation in the bar, by the way!]
Forza Azzurri!
The Beatles - "Rattle your jewels" [John Lennon] and Twist and Shout - 1963
Interesting colour form combination
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which I see two young designers are inspired by Sicilian Folk Craft
They are called

Have a good evening
In 30 minutes Italy will be mourning by looks of it
ReplyDeleteSuper beads and nails! I am not surprised you caused a sensation!
ReplyDeleteI love your preparations :-)
ReplyDeleteI now know the outcome is not what you would have liked...
Go for it, Welshcakes.
ReplyDeleteHello, "nothing here" and welcome. I will look up the young designers - thank you.
ReplyDeleteAnd they were, jams! But they did sportingly applaud their opponents.
Thanks, Jenny.
Oh, well, Cherie.... I suppose it's back to worrying about the other euro now!
I did, James, but it didn't do much good!
You look divine!
ReplyDeleteIt's very nice of you to say so, Rosaria.
ReplyDeleteGreat pedicure - shame about the result
ReplyDeleteWow! Pat you look gorgeous with that red lipstick! No wonder you caused a sensation!
