Thanks to my friend the Welshie in Italy for giving me the idea for a series of posts in which I'll invite you to guess the ice cream flavours.
In this first one I've got my favourite amarena [black cherry] flavour but what else do you think I've got in there? I'll put the answer in the comments.
If it's not coffee, I reckon it's something like cookie dough flavour...but would they do that in Sicilia..?
ReplyDeleteLemon?
ReplyDeleteCaramel fudge, double churn cookies with creamy chocolate sauce.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need "Bon Appétit" for this bowl of ice cream....
Ok, I looked again - NOT lemon. It must have some chocolate or coffee - perhaps Bacio?
ReplyDeleteNougat and chocolate. Si non è vero, è ben trovato.
ReplyDeleteYou're all very good! Well, if you are in Italy you may know those naughty "Ringo" biscuits. This year, someone has had the idea of making an ice cream from them! I tried it purely in the interest of blog research....
ReplyDeleteO come on what is it? My guess is caramel fudge. As well as cookie dough. But cookie dough first.
ReplyDeleteO I know! It's Simi flavour!! Right colour and all... maybe not golden enough but hey...
ReplyDeleteThe answer's in my previous comment, Gleds.
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is I be it is delicious! Ringo biscuits? I am intrigued
ReplyDeleteThey are rather moreish, round biscuits, jams.
ReplyDeleteO DURRR!!!! TRUST ME TO MISREAD THAT COMMENT I THOUGHT YOU MEANT... WELL I DON'T KNOW WHAT I THOUGHT YOU MEANT it's just typical of me to get it wrong. How odd that I guessed cookie dough though? That was a near miss!!
ReplyDeleteNo problem, Gleds. Yes, you were close!
