What a mixture of the exotic and the familiar greeted me on the via Sacro Cuore today, where I found that the cyclamens had vanished, to be replaced by these petunias in the containers.

what a weird mix, but oddly pretty! perhaps planted by someone with a sense of humour, i will hopefully finish planting out my plumbers garden this weekend, have flowers growing in toilets and old pipes and boots, will post a photo when done, now that will be strange... :)
