When you have been unceremoniously traded in for a newer model, it helps to recount your woes to a loyal female friend who remembers to bring the tissues, especially if you do so over a lunch of pasta and ice cream:

That's a beautiful picture of you and Simi and I'm sorry for calling her a swine. I was only joking; I call all my pets swines but Simi isn't my pet so it must have sounded odd. I hope no offence was caused

It's an excellent plan, Pat, and if there wasn't a bastardo around would be perfect. I especially like the colours on the photographed dishes and you know how much I like Anna's rendering of that song. Regards to Simi.
