IL LIBRO DELLE RISPOSTE

I have some troubles at the moment so I asked my little Libro delle Risposte ["Book of Answers"] if things would turn out well.  It fell open at the word Aspetta ["Wait"].  If I didn't know it had been translated from the English, I would have believed it had been written by a Sicilian!

  5. Hey is it true that in Italy people are less likely to read e.g. novels recreationally than in the UK?
I heard in Europe there is a north-south divide on this issue. Or is it just the sort of generalization Radio 4 like to jabber on about.... It doesn't sound too plausible to me, but that's what I heard!
