Beautiful - we have one in our churchyard but it won't be out for another month or so. An inauspicious name indeed for the tree that legend says Judas used to hang himself. There's a garden near us where they grow all the plants and trees mentioned in the Bible - fascinating.
Hi, Nick and Claudia. I hade never seen one till I came here, either. Hi, fullet. Yes, spring is lovely here. Hi, Sally. That must be a fascinating garden that you have nearby. I think so, too, WW, Cherie and jams. Hi, Mutley. So do I!
We planted one of these at our last house in Vetralla, but it sadly did not survive. Maybe we should try again as they have such a beautifully deep coloured blossom.
Thanks. Although I've heard of the Judas Tree, I can't remember seeing one before. It certainly is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I have never seen one. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, it's a beautiful tree. So nice to see the spring in Modica!

ReplyDeleteHi, LindyLouMac. What a pity. But I think you should try again.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think we will try and plant one next autumn if we can find one in a local nursery.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is a beautiful tree, but could do with a prettier name.
ReplyDeleteHi again, LindyLouMac. I do hope you find one. I'll be interested to read about its progress if you do. Hi, Ellee. Yes, such a pity about its name.
