I loved this display of sweet Sicilian carrots, surrounded by young artichokes, on display in a supermarket this morning. - Such a simple, yet effective, idea.

Oh yes...how I wish I could find a decent artichoke to buy here. I love steamed artichokes.

ReplyDeleteLovely colourful display. Nothing like local fresh produce instead of trucked from 1500 miles away. Or in cold storage for months.
