The sweetest blood oranges in Sicily are said to be produced in and around the town of Francofonte, [Siracusa Province]. I can confirm that this is so, having purchased this crateful on the Catania road this morning. [5 euros].
Like your previous fashion purchases, what a steal of a deal. Sicilian oranges are definitely thee best! I have a particular weakness for them especially when they're individually wrapped in colorful tissue paper. Removing them from the tissue makes me feel like it's xmas all over again!
I've had some cathing up here with all the wonderful things you have been up to. In addition to juicing and freezing, they make great orange marmalade or mixed with some tarter citrus for a treat as well. Send on up our way...
Wow those are going to make your skin shine like a 20 year-old. My wife however insists the best oranges in the world come from Valencia and its more than my life's worth to disagree with a Spanish woman on the subject of food.
