It's not Thursday but I couldn't resist running this one early in the week. I include my friend Gino's vibrant painting of the same object to help you.
I'd love to know what it tastes like too. Have you heard about the wine which came out of the water tap in Rome: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article4899830.ece
Well done, everyone! It was the container I was thinking of, rather than the prickly pear inside. The container is, of course, a prickly oear leaf and when they are found in this shape, they are quite often used as food containers. Now, that's a thought, Mutley!
What a tease, I can only see some sort of fruit!!
ReplyDeleteIts a nasty trick shoe!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a prickly pear. Love the painting :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a bud... or a fruit... or a seed-head... and it's lying in a weird green peanut shell.
ReplyDeleteThere, how did I do?
Fichi d'India, yummy, yummy - and love the painting too.
