Looks delish! Are you still having watermelon weather over there in Sicily? Autumn has hit Puglia full force, rain, wind, cool weather...it's suddenly here!
So glad you all like the pic! Leslie, just been over - that was quite something! WW, you are right - they don't taste the same anywhere else! Saretta, it has "cooled" to about 25 C in the afternoons now!
How clever, and pretty, too.
ReplyDeleteYes lovely.
ReplyDeleteDelightful :-)
ReplyDeleteYummie. :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, but as you know I'm not a melon lover. You MUST come over to see what jmb, liz and I had for our dessert today.
ReplyDeleteA very good cut indeed. Tasty too.
ReplyDeleteLooks great, nothing beats eating watermelon , even spitting out the pips :)
ReplyDeleteI love watermelon. They don't seem to taste as good in England. Maybe they need a hot climate for maximum enjoyment.

I bet water melons are really cheap in Sicily. I know it looks very decorative, but I think I prefer to see it sliced.
ReplyDeleteThose black things aren't flies, are they?
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy for the eyes.
ReplyDeleteHi, ellee. Well, much cheaper than in the UK. I just thought this was so pretty. Seeds, Calum! Agree, jmb.
ReplyDeleteLooks almost too good to eat :-)
