I spent most of yesterday being depressed before realising that my "sitemeter" is stuck and has been for 27 hours! Is anyone else having trouble and does anyone know what to do? I'm also nursing a broken finger which is really stupid but slowing down my typing! Long post coming up soon!

ReplyDeleteHi, Steve. It's the thing right at the bottom of the page when you go into the blog and it tells me how many visitors I'm having and, interestingly, where they are. It encourages me! I think their site has crashed or something. Thanks for the sympathy. It doesn't hurt and is a nuisance more than anything else.
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough, my cleaning lady had a badly injured finger today, it was bitten by a dog as she pushed a leaflet through a letter box.

ReplyDeletejust reload it into the blog and start again. You can put the number of hits in so you can keep track of where you were.

Lizand Ellee, thanks. There must be a finger plague about! Lee, thank you, too. Breaking it was surprisingly easy. It's my right little finger and I broke it before, five years ago, in a bad fall downstairs. So it's weak and I only jarred it at the weekend but that was enough to do the damage. C/u, thank you. ReplyDeleteYou should get a second statistics device. I use Sitemeter and StatCounter. I like StatCounter better because it offers more information. You can even see your visitors on a map of the world!
I only keep SiteMeter any more because TruthLaidBear.com uses it.
