Even when something does happen, the villagers rebuild their homes on the volcano's slopes. People here have lived with the danger of seismic activity all their lives and are philosophical about it. Here in the Sorda district I am quite high up. There are emergency plans in place to evacuate the town should there be a bad earthquake but I don't know where to. The main worry is increased risk because of climate change. I wouldn't go anywhere without Simone!Welshcakes Limoncellohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17209759237794290941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26674022.post-1164652039439750642006-11-27T19:27:00.000+01:002006-11-27T19:27:00.000+01:00Do you have a place of safety go to if the worst s...Do you have a place of safety go to if the worst should happen?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26674022.post-1164572212480551372006-11-26T21:16:00.000+01:002006-11-26T21:16:00.000+01:00Buona sera, Bonnie. All the cars in the area had trouble because their air filters clogged with ash.Ballpoint Wrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01052642068447293589noreply@blogger.com
